Happy Mother’s Day

RBM celebrating its first Mother’s Day .. honouring all mother of the family as well as motherhood, maternal bonds and the influence of mothers in society.

Mother’s Day celebrations began in 1908 when Anna Jarvis had a memorial for her mother in St. Andrews Methodist Church in West Virginia which now has the International Mother’s Day Shrine. Anna Jarvis wanted to commemorate Mother’s Day as a recognized holiday, to her mother Ann Reese Jarvis who was a peace activist. Ann Jarvis took care of soldiers on both sides of the American Civil war and created Mother’s Day work clubs to address public health issues. Anna Jarvis wanted to honour her mother as she believed that a mother is “the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world”.

We at #rbm_polyclinic would like to emphasis that from a daughter to mother RBM Polyclinic is always there for any healthcare related services.

During this time of the pandemic we request you to celebrate mother’s day at home. #stayhome #staysafe and lets celebrate Motherhood in all ways.
